School case not dismissed,
Cadiz complainant insists

A two-classroom school building was turned over Tuesday to the Kaladias Elementary School in Barangay Najandig, Zamboaguita, Oriental Negros.

School principal Jerry Eltanal said the structure will decongest the classrooms and will be conducive to the learning of pupils.

It was built through the joint efforts of the provincial and local governments, and Board Member Marcelo Adanza (third district) and former Mayor Lourdes Adanza.

Meanwhile, the waterwork system in Zamboguita has already reached Poblacion barangays of Zamboguita, assistant municipal engineer Julie Jumawan said, adding that they are trying to fast-track the installation and construction of pipes to complete the project.

The local government is also developing the water source in sitios Bokal-bokal and Boloc-bloc in Barangay Najandig, for the supply of potable water in the other barangays.

Former Rep. Herminio Teves has allocated P2 million for the purchase of polytylene pipes. Zamboaguita Mayor Kit Mark Adanza, in his inaugural speech, also vowed to prioritize the water works project.*MA
