Bacolod Team A, bannered by its veteran age-group campaigners, dominated the 17-below in both boys and girls categories.

Pontevedra came out a surprise winner in the below 13 boys category and Talisay City and in the 13 below girls category in the 19th Panaad sa Negros chess tournament.

Karen Joy Anoran lead Bacolod A to win the gold medal on Board 1 and teammate Marjorie Bustamante settled for silver on Board 2 in below 17 girls' category.

Cadiz City A Kristel Shayne Herrera won the silver medal on Board 1 while Erl Martinez settled for bronze medal.

Bacolod B Nina Dohinog won the gold medal on Board 2, while Darren Mae Delos Santos settled for bronze medal in the same board.

In boys 17 below, Stevenson Garong ruled Board 2 followed by Escalante city's Spencer De Guzman who settled for silver medal and Cadiz A Jan Danielle Magalona took the bronze medal.

Bacolod A Joshua Gelera settled for silver medal on Board 1 won by Sagay City 's John Lloyd Bautista and the bronze medal won by La Carlota City's Roel Vergara.

Joshua Panes and Carl Jay Eslabra anchored Pontevedra's team on Board 1 and 2 respectively in the below 13 boys' category for the gold medals to win the title.

Escalante city's Aeron Keide Sining took the silver medal behind Panes on Board 1.

Cadiz B Eugene Escobia settled for the bronze medal.

On Board 2, Bacolod A Jireh Martinez settled for silver medal while Cadiz B Mars Joelson Belascuain took the bronze medal.

Talisay City 's Stella Marie Andador and Mary Brillantes ruled Board 1 and 2 respectively to capture the title in 13 below girl's category.

Escalante City 's Manilyn Cabungcag settled for silver medal on Board 1, while Bacolod A Rica Rose Gabales took the bronze medal.

On Board 2, Escalante Irene Alquiza won the silver medal while Bacolod A Krisha Nepomuceno took the bronze medal. Cash prizes and trophies were awarded to the winners.*PNA
