Bacollywood workshops on

The Bacollywood workshops have started this week but enrollment is still ongoing for cinematography that starts April 23 and editing and sound design that starts April 30.

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts, and Produksyon Tramontina Inc. is providing instruction in creative skills through the Bacollywood workshops that started yesterday and will run until May 6, a press release from the organizers said.

Cinematography will be taught by Anne Monzon, editing for independent films by director and editor Lawrence Fajardo, sound design by Sound Designer Paolo Lindaya, and film production by Manny Montelibano,

Improvisations: Work in progress will be taught with basic acting on the first week by Jubal Gallaga and Jack Triño, both actors and directors, and the succeeding two weeks of improvisations by DLS-College of St. Benilde Production Design Department Head and film director Gabriel Fernandez, with actor and host John Arceo, the press release said.

Make-up for film will be taught by Carlos Durana, while basic cultural workshop will be handled by Clarissa Chikiamco, an art writer and independent curator based in Manila, the press release also said.*
