BY JUDY F. PARTLOW

A man who allegedly killed his younger brother for a still undetermined reason voluntarily surrendered to the police recently in Bindoy, Negros Oriental, and is now in jail.

Police reports said Ramil Amorganda, 38, of Barangay Nalundan in Bindoy, allegedly attacked and killed his younger brother, Stanley, with a pestle, locally known as “alho” .

Stanley Amorganda, 36, single and also a resident of Nalundan, reportedly tried to enter his elder brother’s house Saturday night and an altercation took place, the police said.

Stanley succumbed to multiple injuries on his head and body.

Ramil turned himself in to barangay tanods who brought him to the Bindoy police station. Investigation also showed that there was a rift between the brothers before the incident.*JFP
