More Capitol CCTV
cameras sought

BY CARLA GOMEZ

More closed-circuit television(CCTV) cameras are being recommended to beef up security at the Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol in Bacolod City, Provincial Administrator Enrique Pinongan said yesterday.

The recommendation of the Capitol security group for more and better CCTV cameras to help prevent theft cases will be submitted to Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr., Pinongan added.

He said thieves recently stole electrical wiring within the Capitol grounds, and security personnel who chased the culprits failed to catch them.

They hope that with more CCTV cameras, they will be able to identify and arrest the thieves, Pinongan added.*CPG
