Driver dies at hospital
BY ADRIAN NEMES III

A motorcycle driver who figured in what appeared to be a hit-and-run accident at the junction of Rizal-Lacson streets, Bacolod City Saturday, died while being treated in a hospital Sunday.

Police identified the victim as Humprey Dave Olinares, 26, of Canetown Subdivision in Victorias City, Negros Occidental.

Olinares was earlier comatose at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital, ABS-CBN reported.

His companion, Roxaine Aguro, 20, of Regent Pearl Homes in Brgy. Alijis, Bacolod was also seriously injured and is now confined at the same hospital.

Their motorcycle collided with a Honda CRV, driven by an identified man, who sped off after the accident.

Traffic investigator, Police Officer 3 Wilson Go said they do not have the identity of the Honda CRV owner yet. He also appealed to the driver to surface and help the family of the victims.*APN
