Four members of a family arrested and charged for illegal possession and sale of prohibited drugs in Victorias City, Negros Occidental, will soon have a reunion in jail.
This was after Annabelle de Asis, her son, Ian, and 17-year-old daughter, were arrested during a buy-bust operation Monday in Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
De Asis and her husband, Joel, were arrested in July for a similar violation. Their son, Joma, was also arrested in an anti-narcotics operation, police records show.

The buy-bust operation yielded six elongated sachets of suspected shabu, P500 marked money and P970 in cash believed to proceeds from the sale of prohibited drugs, two cellular phones and assorted illegal drugs paraphernalia.
The daughter of de Asis, whose identity is being withheld, was arrested for having illegal drugs paraphernalia with residue of suspected shabu .
Police Supt. Alexander Munoz yesterday said Annabelle and Ian will soon join her husband, Joel, and another son, Joma, at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology facility in Victorias City, after charges were filed against them yesterday.
Munoz, the Victorias police chief, said he has repeatedly warned the de Asis family to refrain from engaging in the sale of drugs, after Annabelle was released on July, as ordered by the City Prosecutor’s Office.
The 17-year-old daughter of the couple, is now in the custody of the City Social Welfare and Development Office.*GPB back
