Suarez wish:
High level campaigns

Negros Occidental Elections Supervisor Jessie Suarez yesterday said his birthday wish is for all candidates to conduct their campaigns on a high level and in a professional matter.

The end result of this will be a clean, peaceful and orderly elections in May next year, he said.

Suarez who turned 57 yesterday, was treated to a potluck birthday lunch at the provincial COMELEC office in Bacolod City by election officers from the towns and cities of Negros Occidental.

Also at the affair was former Provincial Elections Supervisor Victor Gaborne, whom Suarez described as his mentor.

Suarez said Election Registration Board hearings on voters applications ended Monday and the total number of voters in Negros Occidental will be known in a week’s time.

He expects Negros Occidental voters to reach 1.5 million.

They will preparers the voters list in December and the budgets for precincts in Negros Occidental, he added.*CPG
