The Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan in Bacolod is endorsing the tandem of former Bacolod Rep. Monico Puentevella and businessman Vladimir Gonzalez for mayor and vice mayor, Bong Dilag, chairman of PDP-Laban in Bacolod City said.

In an interview over ABS-CBN Dilag, who is planning to run for councilor under the party of Puenetevella, said they believe in the leadership and vision of the former solon.

Meanwhile, Gonzalez said that until now, Puentevella has not yet chosen his running mate for vice mayor in the 2013 elections.

He said they have constant communications and he is patient enough to give Puentevella all the time and leeway to choose his running mate.

Gonzalez said the rumors that he will be possibly chosen by Puentevella over Councilor Archie Baribar because he could provide bigger funds for the campaign, is unfair.

If ever he will be the one chosen by Puentevella, it will not only be based on the financial aspect, he said.

Although the funds are really needed, he is presenting himself not only with capability for wining but also for his competence, Gonzalez added.*CGS.
