Gov. Alfredo G. Marañon, Jr. yesterday signed a Deed of Donation with Binalbagan Mayor Emmanuel Aranda for a 23,539-square meter parcel of land to be utilized by the town as a public cemetery, a Capitol press release said.

The signing was witnessed by Board Members Melvin Ibañez of the Fifth District and Salvador Escalante, Jr. of the Second District, in the presence of Provincial Administrator Enrique Pinongan at the Governor's Office.

Aranda thanked the governor saying this will be a big help to the people of Binalbagan.*
