Bus collector killed

A fare collector of Ceres Liner passenger bus was stabbed dead by the four suspects who robbed him of his cash collections Tuesday in Brgy. Palaka, Valladolid, Negros Occidental.

The victim, identified as Armin To-ong, 21, of La Castellana, succumbed to three stab wounds, that caused his death, investigations of the Valladolid police showed.

The victim reportedly stood his ground not to give his fare collections and fought back against the four suspects, who had boarded the Ceres Liner passenger bus bound for Bacolod City, that came from La Carlota City.

After taking the cash, the four suspects disembarked from the passenger bus leaving the dying fare collector, and hid in a sugarcane field in Brgy. Palaka in Valladolid.

The Valladolid Police Station is still investigating the incident.* GPB
