BY CHRYSEE SAMILLANO

Five rescue teams will be deployed at the coastal barangays of Bacolod City during the celebration the Feast of “San Juan” on Sunday.

City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office head Jomarie Vargas yesterday said the rescue teams to be deployed along the coastlines of Brgy. Punta-Taytay to Banago, are the Amity, Chamber, Seagull, Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Philippine Coast Guard.

Vargas advised those who will celebrate San Juan's day not to drink alcoholic liquor to avoid accidents, and to be careful while swimming, and also, to never leave children unattended.
